Ki-Chi-Saga Days Celebration

2024 KI-CHI-SAGA DAYS CELEBRATION AUGUST 15-18TH

Join our community to celebrate Ki-Chi-Saga Days, a great city festival with activities for all ages! This celebration hosts many events throughout the city. Here a just a few highlights. Enjoy one of the biggest craft/food/display shows in the area over 100 vendors where you will also find fantastic music concerts, children’s area in PARADISE PARK with a movie on Friday night and Fireworks Saturday night, skateboard competition held by Maranatha Church at Chuckie Lundquist, street dance and fishing contest at Frankie’s, citywide garage sales, a grand day parade on Sunday finished off with a pie eating contest! This community celebration has been a great success because of our volunteers and donations from local businesses and others.  Don’t miss this wonderful community celebration!

 

 

 Schedule of Events

Please join us at Chisago City's community celebration Ki-Chi-Saga Days!  Events are scheduled from Thursday, August 15 - Sunday, August 18!  Check the Schedule of Events posted below for location, time, and type of event as several events happen in different locations around the area as well in downtown Chisago City.    

 Community-wide Garage Sale Days

The Community-wide Garage Sale is taking place during Ki-Chi-Saga Days, from Thursday, August 15 - Sunday, August 18, 2024. Some participants will have their own dates and time of their sales.  Please be respectful and only go during their hours listed.  Forms are due Thursday, August 8th 2024. During the festival, the maps will be available at the Chisago City Park Board Booth.

 Grand Day Parade

The 2024 Ki-Chi-Saga Days Grand Day Parade is held on Sunday, August 18, at 2 PM. The route starts at 282nd Street on Old Towne Road and continues north to Railroad Avenue. It moves west to West Street and north to Wyoming Avenue.  The parade continues west and ends at Lakeside School.  An entry form is below for people interested in entering the parade.  Contact our Parks Superintendent for more information.
 
Parking Restrictions on Sunday from 12-4 PM:  With the Ki-Chi-Saga Days Parade being held within the city, there are no parking restrictions on designated streets.  Please view the document below for information on which streets have no parking restrictions.

 Little Miss Ki-Chi-Saga Contest 2024

Little Miss Ki-Chi-Saga Contest

Girls in grades 3, 4, and 5 that attend or reside in the Chisago Lakes School District may enter the Little Miss Ki-Chi-Saga contest.  Little Miss Ki-Chi-Saga will be chosen by essay.  Essays should be 50-75 words in length.

A Ki-Chi-Saga Days booth is an inexpensive and effective way to advertise your business and meet new customers.  Our vendors are the hallmark of our celebration.  Chisago City invites you to spend the weekend enjoying live music, food, and fun.  Details are provided on the registration form, which is posted below. To register, please complete the form and mail with payment to Ki-Chi-Saga Days, 10625 Railroad Avenue, P.O.
